The Beach front now is equipped with a wooden patio which takes you directly to the sea without even touching a speck of sand. And in the back yard we found a lovely children's playground and a new fully equipped BBQ. And it is fast! The villa was fully renovated. WiFi is reachable even at the pool/porch garden area. Gardens have grown creating a magnificent landscape. But now coming back from our new visit I just have to say PERFECT AGAIN and even better! Many things have been improved. Wile reading the recent reviews I became kind of skeptical for our new visit. I highly recommend this villa.…Īs a returning client I am usually very demanding, especially when the first visit was perfect. The company went out of their way to be welcoming and helpful. The location is very quiet so totally unsuitable for rowdy young groups looking to drink. The sea was warm enough to swim in during the day and at night under the moonlight. It was very easy to swim in the dense water and we all swam out to the rocks about 300 m offshore without any effort. Sea The sea is very salty and was as flat as a mill pond with no tide. I strongly advise getting some beach shoes that you can walk on the pebbles and swim in them. The first 15 m of the beach is gritty sand with another 30 m of large pebbles. The villa has placed an umbrella and sun beds on the beach for your personal use and a wooden walkway that takes you right to the water’s edge. Beach The beach is about 50 m from the villa. We caught the bus to Rhodes Town which cost €7.10 but took 2 hours along the coastal road so we took a taxi back which cost €77 and took about 50 minutes. We had a taxi from the airport which was organised by the villa for us which took about 50 minutes and cost €90. The supermarket can be reached via the very busy main road to the left of the villas (750 m) but I preferred to walk the coastal road route which is longer but traffic free. All the restaurants were very quiet apart from Stefanos (not sure why as I thought it was a little overrated). None of them had a great choice of vegetarian dishes other than salads. My personal favourite was Petalas that server a wonderful stifado and lovely strong cocktails. There are 8 restaurants within half a kilometre of the villa. Location The location is very quiet indeed. Because they had no one arriving that day they allowed us to stay until 5pm without charging us any extra. We asked the villa if they could extend our stay after checkout at midday as the taxi was picking us up at 5pm. They supply plenty of towels and service the villa every four days. There’s also an oven, microwave oven, coffee maker, coffee percolator and toastie maker. The kitchen contained everything you could think of including a fridge stocked with ice, a bottle of wine, bread, butter, cheese and ham enough for a snack on a late arrival. One of the single bedrooms had a view out onto the back garden whilst the other only a ceiling skylight to the outside. Downstairs from the living area are two more small single bedrooms with a shared bathroom which also had a shower over the bath. There was also a shaving mirror and hairdryer. The bath was a Jacuzzi bath but we never tried that feature out. The en-suite bathroom has a small sink and a shower over the bath. It is spacious with enough room for your clothes and luggage. The master bedroom is upstairs via a marble staircase. The air-conditioning unit keep the area cool and was very quiet for such a unit. The open plan living area and kitchen is well laid out. Villa We stayed in Villa The villa is beautiful to look at.
